AnimA ARPG is a dark, Diablo-inspired action RPG that stands as one of the best indie dungeon crawlers on mobile. Developed by Exilium Games, it features real-time hack-and-slash combat across gritty underground environments populated with dense enemy hordes and challenging bosses. The character progression system is genuinely deep — players invest skill points into branching skill trees and benefit from a flexible multi-class system, allowing weapon and armor choices regardless of your mastery class. The crafting system is straightforward, and the campaign offers thousands of hours of content at increasing difficulty levels. Crucially, it is not pay-to-win; progression is earned through gameplay. The main drawback is that inventory storage requires a paid upgrade, which some players find restrictive. A must-play for fans of classic PC ARPGs in a mobile package. ⚔️🔥
How to play?
1. **Download and Create a Character:** Install AnimA, start a new game, and choose your starting mastery class — options include different combat archetypes like melee, ranged, or magic.
2. **Learn the Controls:** Use the virtual joystick on the left to move and tap skill buttons on the right to attack; skills can be swapped and customized from the skill menu.
3. **Fight Through Dungeons:** Progress through story chapters by clearing dungeon rooms of enemies — defeat all enemies to unlock the exit to the next area.
4. **Level Up and Spend Skill Points:** When your character levels up, allocate skill points into the skill tree to strengthen existing abilities or unlock new ones.
5. **Loot and Equip Gear:** Open chests and collect dropped loot from enemies — compare stats and equip better weapons, armor, and accessories from your inventory.
6. **Craft and Upgrade:** Access the crafting menu to combine materials and improve gear stats — useful for filling gaps when good drops are scarce.
7. **Increase Difficulty:** After completing the main campaign, replay chapters on higher difficulty settings for better loot drops and greater challenges.
